Can you smell it? The cool crisp air with a hint of pumpkin spiced lattes…which are already out now. Can you believe it?! We keep pushing seasonal items earlier and earlier every year. Halloween stuff is already out and school isn’t even back in session yet. This makes me a little sad because you don’t get to enjoy the season and decorations before we move on to the next one. I guarantee by the end of September all the Christmas stuff will be out. Slow it down retail people! Slow that ship wayyyyy down. I want to savor fall while it’s here instead of being rushed through it on to the holidays then winter and spring break. This is entirely to stressful! I for one am looking forward to sweaters sets, tall boots, team colors, tailgating, football, chili, hot toddies and of course…. FALL Weddings!!! AHEM… can we say gorgeous? The plums and creams and lace! OH MY! I’ve put together some inspiration in preparation for your BIG FALL DAY! I love an outdoor wedding, especially in fall. It’s the one time of year no one has to worry about sweating through their dresses and tux. Even if it’s a little on the chilly side it adds a nice little natural glow to your cheek bones.

The food!!! YUM!!! I love incorporating all your favorite splurges into your wedding favors. I especially love the popcorn bar in lieu of favors and who doesn’t love caramel and candied applies! These make fun interactive stations at your wedding and is such a great alternative to the candy buffet which has been done to death.
If you don’t want to go the interactive station route you can do a desert display that works in some small deserts on your cake table. Add some fun donuts for some festive flair… They’ll go good with those pumpkin lattes!
I love this Fall alternative! How many weddings have we all been to where the couple provided fans, sunglasses, cozies or flip flops?! I am loving the lap blanket! This encourages togetherness. I can just see your bridal party huddled around an outdoor fire pit snuggled in these blankets. I can see your nana using them as a picnic blanket. What wonderful memories would be attached to these blankets!!! And those pumpkins. LOVE!
