Rehearsal:
- Marriage license
- Proof of completion of pre-marital counseling/church Pre-Wedding requirements
- Phone number and contracts for any vendors who are to work, attend, or deliver to the venue (photographers, live musicians, oficiant, DJ, etc.).
- Unity candle, aisle runner or other ceremonial items
- Programs (have a copy ready for your officiant, the church coordinator, and musicians)
- If not included in your programs, a complete list of your wedding party members and VIP family members with names and roles/relationships to assist the ceremony coordinator(s) with identification
- Your wedding ceremony itinerary complete with:
- A complete outline of the ceremony including every music cue and transition
- The order in which you plan to have the wedding party (including parents) enter
- A seating plan for VIP family and friends
- A copy of your readings for your officiant and an extra copy for your readers
- Aisle/chair/pew/altar décor if you haven’t yet turned it over to your planner
- Any payments due to ceremony vendors, venue and church staff at the rehearsal
- A copy of the wedding day wedding party details for one last rundown of the important times and activities
- Ring bearer pillow, box or other carried item and flower girl basket if applicable
- Any ceremony item you planned to leave at the ceremony site the day before the wedding. If you choose to leave something extremely valuable, like your gown, be certain it is locked up in a truly secure environment, otherwise, plan to bring your valuables on the wedding day
- Your ceremony shoes for practice walking up and down the aisle
Packing List Rehearsal Dinner
- Phone number and contracts for any vendors who are to work, attend, or deliver to the rehearsal dinner (caterers, planners, photographers)
- Escort cards, place cards, décor items not previously turned over to wedding planner
- Copy of the evening’s itinerary if you are overseeing it
- Copy of any remarks you may have pre-written for toasts
- Wedding party gifts
- Phone number of a taxi company or safe ride service in case partying gets wild
- Final payments for rehearsal dinner vendors if they are your responsibility
- A copy of important times and activities for the wedding day in case a bridal party member asks
- Groom’s cake or specialty dessert
- Music if you are to provide a CD or iPod
